Supplies:
- One Angel head with hands
- Two 10 yard rolls of 2” wide wired ribbon
(gold and white - colors are optional).
- Two white chenille stems
- Glue gun
Instructions:
- Cut ribbon rolls as follows: 6 pieces at 30”, 4 pieces
at 36”/ You should have about 24” of each roll left for
wings.
- Fold each ribbon end lengthwise. Cut an angle from the
foldside about 1” down to side top corner. This should
give you a double pointed end.
- Layer ribbon lengthwise 36” on bottom, starting with
white then gold, then 30” ending with white. Keep one gold.
- Fold in half and twist a chenille stem very tightly around middle. Separate the chenille stem for arms. Take second chenille stem and wrap around the open one to give arms more body.
- Glue hands to arms. Glue shoulders to ribbon over shoulders made of chenille stems.
- Cut approximately 12” or 13” piece of gold ribbon for sleeves out of 24” leftover pieces. Make sure that you have about 1/2” to turn edge over.
- Glue edges down for hem.
- Fold ribbon lengthwise and glue in from sleeve hem (towards middle) about 3” along fold.
- Put jacket on and glue in place.
- Take extra ribbon with fancy edge and fold in half across the width. Twist in the middle and flue to breast plate in front of where chest meets ribbon.
- Drape remaining ribbon back over shoulder and glue in place.
- Glue halo to top of head.
