Instructions:
File drain hole in bottom of pot open to ½” diameter. Note: It is easier to file pots if they are soaked in water for three days. Make sure they dry the same number of days soaked before painting. Also use pots that aren’t water sealed.
Antlers - Draw and cut Fun Foam to resemble antlers. Use black pen to outline and shade with Light Ivory.
Legs - Cut jumbo craft sticks 3¾” long for legs. Paint sticks with Golden Brown and Burnt Sienna (1:1 ratio). Base hooves Black and highlight with Light Ivory. Let dry. Glue styrofoam disc to inside of terra cotta pot. Let dry. Put glue on top of popsicle stick leg and insert into styrfoam disc 3/4” from rim of pot.
Body- Paint pot, egg, and ovals to match legs in Golden Brown and Burnt Sienna. Use angle shader to shade around face, ears, legs and bottom of moose with Burnt Sienna. Use black pen to draw nose, eyes and outline features.
Tie a bow with fabric and glue under moose’s chin.
