Supplies:
- 3/4 yard each of 2 fabrics of choice
- Thread
- 2 1/2 yards trim or fringe
- Bells or beads (optional)
- Tassels
Instructions:
- Cut a 21” square of each fabric.
- With right sides together, sew around edges
using a 1/4” seam and leaving one side
approximately 4” open.
- Clip corners and iron seams open.
- Turn right sides out and press.
- Sew the 4” opening close.
- Sew trim to the inside fabric, approximately 1/2” from the edge.
- Place fabric on table with trim face up.
- Pull up corners of fabric and secure with braided tassel or with beaded neck ring.
Neck Ring Supplies:
- Package memory wire
- Package 3/8” gold bells
- Package 6/10 size beads (red or green)
- Wire cutters
- Needlenose pliers
Neck Ring Instructions:
- Cut memory wire to desired length, for resting over the neck of a bottle.
- With needlenose pliers, bend back approximately 1/4” of wire back onto self to prevent beads from sliding off.
- Arrange bells and beads into any pattern you like onto the wire.
- Fold back approximately 1/4” of wire back onto itself.
- Place ring over the neck of the bottle.
