1” Wooden Blocks (the number depends on the sayings)
white craft paint
paint brush
paper
pen or pencil
small alphabet stencil
small holiday stencils
paint pens
hot glue or wood glue
Instructions:
Base coat the blocks with white paint and let dry. This may take 2-3 coats to cover the blocks completely.
Write down the holidays you would wish to use on paper. (Examples may be Happy Holidays, Merry Christmas, Seasons Greetings, Happy Thanksgiving, Happy Valentines, Happy Halloween, or Happy Birthday) Count the letters in the longest holiday. This is the maximum number of blocks you will need.
Glue the blocks together and let dry.
With the stencils and paint pens write the holiday greetings on the blocks. When your holiday name is shorter than the number of blocks glued together, use holiday icons to dress up the other blocks.
Stack your blocks or line them side by side and rotate them as the holidays change.
