Blooming Hearts
Supplies:
- 3 packages “Fibre Craft Creative Hands”
1624 –hearts
- 1 package 4 oz. hot pink paper shred
- 1 bottle 4 oz. Delta bright red acrylic paint
- 1 Terra Cotta pot
- 6 red chenille stems
- 4" Styrofoam ball
- Glue Gun
- 1 medium foam brush
- Scissors or Wire cutters
Instructions:
Take you foam brush and paint the terra cotta pot inside and out twice. Allow for 20 minutes for the paint to dry. Glue the Styrofoam ball into base of the pot. Take your two chenille stems and twist of them together to make your heart stems. Do this twist with the remaining chenille stems. Take your scissors and cut your twisted chenille stem halfway. Choose six large foam hearts and glue your hearts to the top of the twisted chenille stems. Glue any additional areas of foam hearts to keep foam secure to stem. Stick your heart shaped stems into the Styrofoam. Place a hand full of paper shred into the base to cover the Styrofoam.
Glue a small heart on the center of your pot and give to someone special.
Optional: raffia or ribbon or decorative string for dressing up your base of your terra cotta pot
