Easter Egg Topiary

Easter Egg Topiary Supplies:
  • 1 Compote Design Container
  • 1 24”x2 styrofoam pole - cut to 9˝”
  • 2 bags of plastic Easter eggs
  • 1˝ yard of ribbon
  • 1 bag of Knuo Niellsen “Spring Green” Moss
  • White Design Master Gloss

Instructions:

  1. Cut styrofoam pole to 9˝ inches or to fit your container, keeping proportionate.
  2. Trim down the ˝ top portion of the pole to make it tapered on top. (Fig.1)
  3. Glue eggs...rows of three or four are easiest. Starting at the bottom, glue eggs all the way around the styrofoam.
  4. On the next row, place eggs between the top of the eggs on the row beneath. (Fig. 2)
  5. Continue until completed all the way around.
  6. Spray lightly with spray paint until you achieve the color value you like. Let dry.
  7. With Spring Green moss, cover the “spaces” between the eggs. Secure with greening pins.
  8. Make 3 loops of ribbon. Secure with greening pins. Also cut two or three 3” pieces of ribbon and secure into the topiary in between and at the bottom.
