Easter Egg Topiary
Supplies:
- 1 Compote Design Container
- 1 24”x2 styrofoam pole - cut to 9˝”
- 2 bags of plastic Easter eggs
- 1˝ yard of ribbon
- 1 bag of Knuo Niellsen “Spring Green” Moss
- White Design Master Gloss
Instructions:
- Cut styrofoam pole to 9˝ inches or to fit your
container, keeping proportionate.
- Trim down the ˝ top portion of the pole to make it tapered
on top. (Fig.1)
- Glue eggs...rows of three or four are easiest. Starting at the
bottom, glue eggs all the way around the styrofoam.
- On the next row, place eggs between the top of the eggs on the
row beneath. (Fig. 2)
- Continue until completed all the way around.
- Spray lightly with spray paint until you achieve the color value you
like. Let dry.
- With Spring Green moss, cover the “spaces” between the eggs.
Secure with greening pins.
- Make 3 loops of ribbon. Secure with greening pins. Also cut two or three 3” pieces of ribbon and secure into the topiary in between and at the bottom.
