"Oh Mumsy"

Instructions:

1. Lay out glove on a flat surface.
2. Place five strips of wire over each finger.
3. Twist ends of wire together at the palm of the glove.
4. Cut off excess wire. (see fig. 1)
5. Wrap the ends of wires with masking tape so they will not punch through the glove.
6. Place wires inside the glove.
7. Stuff the hand with fiberfill.
8. Glue the clay pots together. (see fig. 2)
9. Tape the stuffed glove tightly to the top of the pots.
10. Bend fingers into desired positions.
11. Cut unbleached muslin into long strips approx. 1” wide across width of fabric.
12. Soak strips of muslin in fabric stiffener and wrap around entire piece, going around each finger and around the rest of the hand.
13. Cut off or add strips as needed. Allow to dry.
14. Glue a few strips of dry muslin around some areas of hand for ragged look.
