Spooktacular Magnets

General Instructions for all Magnets:

1. Cut 4 - 2” pieces of balsa wood.
2. Hot glue craft sticks so that they form a “cross.” Be sure to leave about 1½” at the top for the doll head. Note - the horizontal craft stick should be glued on top of the vertical craft stick.
3. Decorate and paint the magnet as shown in individual instructions.
4. Glue 2”x3” piece of balsa wood to the craftsticks (refer to Fig1). Now glue the decorated doll head just above the body.

Dracula:

1. Using a flat brush, paint the craft sticks and doll head GP Purple. Line the arms with White paint.
2. Paint the balsa wood Purple. Once dry, outline with Black paint.
3. Using a liner brush, paint a white rectangle where Purple meets Black. Next write the words “Trick or Treat” with White paint.
4. Refer to Fig. 2 for embellishments.

Frankenstein:

1. Using a flat brush, paint the craft sticks and doll head Lima Green. Line the arms with Purple paint.
2. Paint the balsa wood Pumpkin. Once dry, outline with Spring Green.
3. Using a liner brush, paint a purple rectangle where Pumpkin meets Spring Green. Next write the words “Freaky Franky.”
4. Refer to Fig. 3 for embellishments.

Scary Cat:

1. Using a flat brush, paint the craft sticks and doll head Black. Line the arms with White paint.
2. Paint the balsa wood Pumpkin. Once dry, outline with Black paint.
3. Using a liner brush, paint a white rectangle where pumpkin meets black.
4. Using a liner brush, write “Scary Cat” with Black paint.
5. Refer to Fig. 4 for embellishments.
6. Make cat’s ears with a 4” piece of a black chenille stem. Make a Zig Zag and glue it to the back of the wood bead.

Mummy:

1. Using a flat brush, paint the craft sticks and doll head White.
2. Paint the balsa wood Lima Green. Once dry, outline with Purple paint.
3. Using a liner brush, write “Mind Your Mummy” with Black paint.
