Clay Pot Indian Angel
Supplies:
- 1” wood ball knob
- feather
- 1˝” clay pot
- thin strip of suede
- 3 beads
- small wooden cactus or green fun foam
- jute
- flesh colored acrylic paint
- green or gold wire
- black permanent marker
- pink chalk
- hot glue
- green glitter glue (or)
- green embossing powder, green rubber stamp ink, rubber stamp in swirl design
Instructions:
- Paint the wooden ball “flesh” and let dry. Draw two black eyes at the top. Chalk the cheeks with pink.
- Make green swirls around the bottom of the terra cotta pot using either green glitter glue or embossing powder
- Glue the ball to the terra cotta pot. Thread three beads onto a piece of jute and tie around the neck of the angel. Glue the cactus to another piece of jute and tie around the neck of the angel. Glue in place.
- Cut several pieces of jute and glue to the top of the head for hair. Tie smaller pieces of jute around the hair on each side to create pigtails.
- Glue the suede strip and feather to the top of the angel’s hair to create a headress.
- Loop several pieces of wire together to form wings and glue to the back of the angel.
