Clay Pot Indian Angel


Clay Pot Indian Angel Supplies:
  • 1” wood ball knob
  • feather
  • 1˝” clay pot
  • thin strip of suede
  • 3 beads
  • small wooden cactus or green fun foam
  • jute
  • flesh colored acrylic paint
  • green or gold wire
  • black permanent marker
  • pink chalk
  • hot glue
  • green glitter glue (or)
  • green embossing powder, green rubber stamp ink, rubber stamp in swirl design

Instructions:

  1. Paint the wooden ball “flesh” and let dry. Draw two black eyes at the top. Chalk the cheeks with pink.
  2. Make green swirls around the bottom of the terra cotta pot using either green glitter glue or embossing powder
  3. Glue the ball to the terra cotta pot. Thread three beads onto a piece of jute and tie around the neck of the angel. Glue the cactus to another piece of jute and tie around the neck of the angel. Glue in place.
  4. Cut several pieces of jute and glue to the top of the head for hair. Tie smaller pieces of jute around the hair on each side to create pigtails.
  5. Glue the suede strip and feather to the top of the angel’s hair to create a headress.
  6. Loop several pieces of wire together to form wings and glue to the back of the angel.
