Jumbo Craft Stick Characters

Santa Instructions:

1. Paint all the sticks and tear drops white.
2. Paint board (for face) and knob (for nose) fleshtone.
3. Glue one 2” stick down from the top of the board; this is your hat band. Write “Ho-Ho-Ho” across the band.
4. Cut two pieces of fabric into a 6”x8” triangle for hat.
5. Glue hat onto board above the hat band. Tie bow with raffia.
6. Glue knob on for the nose. Dot eyes with black paint. Dry brush top of the nose and cheeks with pink.
7. Glue sticks on board, starting at the top by the hat and coming down to make the beard. Glue crescent under the nose.
8. Drill holes in the ends of the hat band and hang up with wire.

Pumpkin Instructions:

1. Paint board 2” down from top black. Paint one craft stick black.
2. Paint rest of the board and 7 sticks pumpkin color.
3. Evenly glue the pumpkin sticks towards the bottom of the board. Glue the black stick towards the top to make the hat band.
4. Paint three wooden triangles and one crescent black. Glue to board for mouth, nose and eyes. Highlight with white paint.
5. Paint wooden star yellow and glue to hat band.
6. Drill holes in the ends of the hat band and hang up with wire.

Scarecrow Instructions:

1. From the top of the board, paint 2” down with brown paint at an angle. Paint 1 craft stick black.
2. Paint rest of the board and 7 sticks tan.
3. Evenly glue the tan sticks to the board halfway from the top.
4. Paint triangle brown for nose.
5. Water down yellow paint and paint stripes on the hat and hat band.
6. Glue small amount of raffia to edge of hat and glue hat band over the top.
7. Dot eyes black, and use a pen for the smile.
8. Glue scrap of fabric around the neck. Hang with wire.
