Salt Dough & Glaze Recipes


Ingredients:
  • 2 cups flour
  • 1 cup salt
  • 1 cup of water
  • Optional: 1 tbsp vegetable oil, or 1 tbsp white glue

Directions:
Mix the flour and salt and half a cup of water. Mix well. Gradually add the other ½ cup of water until dough is smooth and firm in consistency. 1 tablespoon of vegetable oil can be added for suppleness or 1 tablespoon of white glue can be added for elasticity.

Bake the finished salt dough project in a 250 degree Fahrenheit until the dough has completely hardened. Painting or embellishing must be done after the dough has been baked.
