Flag Pin

Flag Pin Supplies:
  • 25 Blue Seed Beads
  • 63 Red Seed Beads
  • 55 White Seed Beads
  • Thirteen 1 1/8” safety pins
  • One 1½” safety pin
  • Round Nose Pliers

Instructions:

  1. Take one 1 1/8” safety pin and open it. Place 5 blue beads, one white, one red, one white, one red, one white, and then one red. Close the pin.
  2. Repeat step one on the 2nd through 5th safety pins.
  3. On the 6th safety pin alternate red and white using six red beads and five white. Start and end with red. Close the safety pin.
  4. Repeat step three with 7th through 13th safety pin.
  5. To place the 1 1/8” pins in the 1 1/2” pin, pry apart the 1 1/2” pin’s coil so that it is loosely coiled. Through the loop ends of the 1 1/8” pins, slide the pins around the 1 1/2” pin’s coil to the non-pointed side of the pin. Start with the red and white beaded pins. After all the pins are in place, use the pliers to squeeze the 1 1/2” pin’s coil back to a tight coil.
