Decoupáge


Supplies:
  • Paper Maché, Tin, or Wood item of choice
  • Fabric, Decoupáge Paper or Napkins
  • Decoupáge Glue
  • Foam Brush
  • Newspaper or Plastic

Instructions:

  1. Cover work area with newspaper or plastic.
  2. Cut out shapes from fabric, decoupáge paper or napkin.
  3. Using a foam brush, apply a coat of glue to the back of the cutout.
  4. Apply the cutout to the desired surface.
  5. Brush a coat of glue on the top of the cutout, covering the entire surface.
  6. Repeat until the surface has been covered.
  7. Brush 2-3 coats of decoupáge glue over the entire design. Allow each coat to dry before applying the next one.

Hint:

  • Use an embossing heat tool or hair dryer to speed drying time.
