Get Your Craft on at the HandMade Brigade Craft Fair at the Tall Mouse in Cerritos! Get ready to give “crafty” a whole new meaning. The HANDMADE BRIGADE is coming to town! Definitely NOT your typical doilies and lace craft show experience, the family owned and operated independent craft store, Tall Mouse Arts and Crafts, will be hosting an Indie craft fair. The event will be held at the Tall Mouse in Cerritos on Saturday July 12, 2008 (13233 E. South St. Cerritos, Ca 90703). This is the first craft show put on by the Tall Mouse Arts and Crafts store. In comparison to its large corporate competitors, Tall Mouse has been the independent “Little Guy” in the craft store industry for 42 years. We have learned that being “little” has nothing to do with how powerful independents can be. As a result, we would like to offer our support to our fellow independent partners in craft. With the DIY/Handmade phenomenon gathering more and more interest, we feel that an Indie Craft Fair is the perfect avenue for us to support all things handmade. Shoppers can expect to find plenty of quality handmade goods from DIY handbags and knitted items to screen printed t-shirts and jewelry.
