FAQ:
Q: Can I rent more than one space at the event?
A: Unfortunately no. We have too many applications and not enough spaces. One space per vendor is all we can afford.
Q: Can I apply with a friend and share a table?
A: Yes! Sharing a table with a friend is perfectly acceptable. When you apply, use only ONE application. Be sure to leave a main contact person and include everyone’s business info. (Names, URL’s, photos, emails, etc.)
Q: Do I need a seller’s permit or resale license?
A: Yes! You are responsible for registering your small business with the state board of equalization by obtaining a seller’s permit. The reason is that you are required by law as a small business to pay sales tax on all the goods you sell throughout the year. The way they track your sales is through your account at the state board of equalization. Seller’s permit numbers are required on our application you will be required to show your permits at the door when you come to set up for the event.
Q: If I am accepted, do I need to bring any cash?
A: Yes. The show is operating completely separate from the store. You will need to bring your own change. Your customers will be paying cash (It is up to you to accept checks or not) so it is recommended that you bring plenty of singles, fives and tens. The store will NOT be providing ANY change or taking on any credit card transactions.
